Closd: Could you please introduce yourself and your firm?
Delphine Lechat: Hello, I’m Delphine Lechat, lawyer and founder of DL Avocat. I started my firm in 2012, focusing primarily on business law, although that term can sometimes be a bit broad in relation to my area of expertise. My firm is small, and I work alone, which means I mainly collaborate with sole traders and small businesses.
For these clients, I handle tasks such as company formation, share transfers, and other similar operations. Simply put, I support business owners in managing the legal challenges they face on a daily basis.
This model also relies on partnerships with accounting firms. For example, when it comes to structuring or making legal changes to a client’s business, it’s often the accountant who contacts me first.
Transparency is a key aspect of my work, which is why I always strive to build a close professional relationship with my clients. This allows me to sustain ongoing discussions and projects.

I also appreciate the ‘Settings’ feature, with its notification history, and the ‘Participants’ module, which gives me an overview of my various projects. For example, in a transfer case with multiple parties involved, I can easily integrate all relevant contacts, create groups, and prioritise participants. This avoids sending too many emails and ensures transparency in accessing and sharing information.
